Democrats have lost the White House and Congress. Their statewide losses are catastrophic. But the institutional strength of the left has only grown stronger. Each Democrat defeat hollows out the party but increases the power and influence of the left to move the party in an undemocratic direction.
So, the special election in Georgia’s 6th district, which the left tried so hard to make into a referendum on the Trump presidency, did not go their way. Despite spending an outrageous sum of money, in fact the most ever in any U.S. congressional election, the Democratic National Committee still couldn’t pull off a win. Apparently the DNC doesn’t understand that 6th District Georgia voters can’t simply be bought by bright lights and slick ad campaigns.
Like frogs, who are incapable of detecting the smooth, slow approach of a snake because their eyes are only adapted to see the quick movements of flies, western nations seem unable to see the infiltration of their homelands by an insidious ideology whose sworn goal is to destabilize, out-populate, overwhelm, and conquer them.
Regardless of what you think about President Trump (and who doesn’t), his rejection of the Paris climate agreement is both sensible and legal. The agreement did not bind its signatories to actually take any specific action to reduce emissions, and it was never an instrument with binding legal authority in the U.S. anyway.
