Report Debunks ‘Born That Way’ Narrative and ‘Transgender’ Label for Kids

by Mary Rice Hasson and Theresa Farnan [The Federalist]  *  23 August, 2016

Political correctness about human sexuality is fostering horror stories for some of the nation’s most vulnerable children and their families. A new report attempts to clear that away to present the science.

Crybullies Violently Disrupt Speech, Make Bomb Threat to Prevent Anyone Hearing Gay Speaker

I noted a few months ago in an American Infrasound article called The Left Devours Its Own the recent phenomenon of the Left becoming increasingly intolerant of its own disciples – even those with decades of solid credentials like activist Peter Thatchell – if they don’t perfectly obey absolutely whatever the current power-wielders’ “Narrative” is. Giving further lie to the Left’s spurious claim that they popularly represent the marginalized, the oppressed minorities of the world and care nothing for their own political power is this outrageous (and highly entertaining) report of Milo Yiannopoulos’s “Dangerous Faggot Tour”.

Forcing Women and Girls to Allow Men in Their Bathrooms: a Bridge Too Far

How has it come to this?

If anyone is still having trouble just coming to grips with the fact that we, as a nation, are actually debating whether to inject men into women’s bathrooms, you’re not alone. You should still be having trouble coming to grips with it, especially with so many issues facing our nation right now that are actually substantive.

Gay Marriage: The Left’s Purpose Was Never “Equality”

20 March, 2016

Last year when I read Daniel Greenfield’s brilliant article (republished in its entirety below) it started a process in my head of multiple mental jigsaw puzzle pieces falling into place.

The “presenting issue” was the strange campaign for Gay Marriage, an amazing phenomenon in American history the likes of which had never happened before: an entirely novel moral issue addressing essential human nature that presented itself at a national level quite out of nowhere, was initially sort of a joke, became a concerted campaign with vast amounts of money spent, and in two or three years achieved a sweeping, nearly total victory – a fundamental redefinition of human society at the cultural, legal, and political levels, including the criminalization of dissent. As others have stated, a majority of people in a democracy don’t change their minds about something this fundamental in just three years. Far less momentous issues have taken 10, 20 years, or a few generations to complete the full arc from “joke to dogma“. A few examples: homosexuality, abortion, slavery, and no-fault divorce.

But Gay Marriage was an entirely different ball of wax. It came, saw, and conquered nearly effortlessly in less than a single presidential election cycle. What I learned from this brilliant article by Daniel Greenfield was that, while Gay Marriage was genuinely supported for what it claimed to be – the right for same-sex couples to marry – by its average supporters, the forces that conceived of, funded, and “delivered” Gay Marriage to America as a fait accompli in just three years, had no actual concern for gay couples or gay people at all and was ultimately aiming for something much bigger and infinitely more sinister.

The Left devours its own – Peter Tatchell

It doesn’t matter how long your social justice warrior resume is or how bravely you’ve fought: if you run afoul of the Left establishment, you will be silenced.

Apparently Peter Tatchell wasn’t far enough Left. The life-long campaigner for gay rights, transgender rights, and an anti-racism advocate recently found himself essentially “no platformed” (banned) by Britain’s National Union of Students. In a recent editorial in the Telegraph’s Education section, Tatchell described his predicament:

Free speech and enlightenment values are under attack in our universities. In the worthy name of defending the weak and marginalised, many student activists are now adopting the unworthy tactic of seeking to close down open debate. They want to censor people they disagree with. I am their latest victim.

This is not quite the Star Chamber, but it is the same intolerant mentality. Student leader Fran Cowling has denounced me as racist and transphobic, even though I’ve supported every anti-racist and pro-transgender campaign during my 49 years of human rights work.

Fran is the LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) Officer of the National Union of Students (NUS). She refused to speak at an LGBT event at Canterbury Christ Church University tonight unless I was dropped from the line-up. This is a variation of the NUS “no-platform” policy; instead of blocking me from speaking, Fran is refusing to share a platform with me.

What has caused this celebrated social justice campaigner to be treated this way? Tatchell went on to describe his “offense” in Ms. Cowling’s opinion.
