This election will determine the fate of our nation. With Donald Trump we have a chance, and it is only that. Over the past few years we have learned to our shock and dismay just how corrupt and out of touch our elected officials really are. They have an agenda and it does not include the American people, except in extracting as much of our resources as possible. They are a powerful force. I don’t know if Donald Trump can overcome it, but I do know that no one else can.
Just 14 years ago Democrats in Congress supported cutting off US visas from dangerous countries. Now, supposedly, that would be “racist”. But in the meantime, jihadist subversives have easy pickings if they want to get in to the Great Satan, and they certainly do.
She pops up like clockwork whenever there’s a townhall. Wearing a hijab and a doleful expression, the Muslim woman asks plaintively what the candidate intends to do about “Islamophobia.” She will mention that she’s one of over 3 million Muslims in the U.S., and may claim that she’s frightened to go out in public.
The mayor of New York City doesn’t think it’s terrorism. Apparently the note written in Arabic that was carefully left behind, the eruption of Islamist boasts on social media, and the knifer in Minnesota, Dahir Adan, asking people if they were Muslim before stabbing them, were not helpful clues.
What were the lessons of September 11? Was it merely a clever exploitation of a chink in America’s armor by a little terrorist cell? And what should our response be today besides candles, teddy bears, and symbolic tributes?
The political elites of the EU wanted this. They promoted it, they subsidized it, and they imported it, via hundreds of ferries across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. For some reason Angela Merkel loves the taste of this hemlock and seems to want more, though it may kill her and the rest of Europe.
But the EU’s unelected, unaccountable elites (and George Soros) thought it would be a great idea to import millions of unvetted Muslims from the middle east, north Africa, and Afghanistan as fast as possible; to pay for that importation using EU taxpayer money; and to put all the newcomers on the public dole for the forseeable future. One day history may look back on that decision and scratch its head, or weep.
