Understanding France’s New Populist Party, le Front National

The schism of pro- and anti-Front National is grounded less and less in political differences. Instead, the conflict increasingly takes the form of a sheer political polarity. For FN supporters, the immigrant is the figure that is undermining French culture, through his unwillingness to respect the ways things are done. Immigrants don’t want to integrate; they don’t respect France.

Our Long National Nightmare Is Over

It finally ends today. With the peaceful transfer of power in Washington from Barack Obama to Donald Trump, what might be described as our long national nightmare will be over.

Obama Pardons “Chelsea”, 1000+ Drug Offenders, Nearly All Gitmo Jihadists, Lifts Sudan Sanctions

Pardoning drug offenders by the thousand, many of them violent offenders and/or dealers. The Most Important Election in Our Lifetimes (and Maybe the Last Chance for Democracy)

This election will determine the fate of our nation. With Donald Trump we have a chance, and it is only that. Over the past few years we have learned to our shock and dismay just how corrupt and out of touch our elected officials really are. They have an agenda and it does not include the American people, except in extracting as much of our resources as possible. They are a powerful force. I don’t know if Donald Trump can overcome it, but I do know that no one else can.
